As I said before, Robert and I rewatched .hack//SIGN. For me there was a lot of nostalgic feelings while watching it. I'm going to attempt to dwelve into all of the additional media for .hack. I was familiar with a lot of it back in the day, but I didn't REALLY get super into all of it.
As far as comics I've been reading a bunch of stuff lately. I read Metal Men, Superman & Legion, Legion of 3 Worlds, and the first trade of JSA. All beautifully fantastic stuff. Also, I've been itching to read some Green Lantern material for quite some time, especially Green Lantern Corps. It's so awesome formerly owning a comic book store. I go look on our shelves and BAM! there's the first two trade paperbacks right there. So I'm going to start reading that. maaaaaaaan I need me some Guy Gardner. Haha.
uhhhnnn the next few issues of Booster Gold is going to be like porn. Zombeetle emotionally and physically beating up Booster? mmmmmmmmmmm. I'm such a woman, I know.

Woooo! Oni-con was alright. There were problems on Friday, but once things were finally settled it was all good. I had a steady amount of commissions. I pretty much had something to work on from start to finish. The dealer's room didn't have much I was particularly interested in. Although I purchased all of the FFIX play-arts figures that are available, Zidane, Garnet, & Vivi. I was eyeing the Portrait of Pirates Usopp. Maybe the next con. The FFIX figures was a big purchase, and I wasn't ready to make another big one. Strangely there wasn't any tiny things I want. No gashapons or phone straps. That's really unusual. Hahaha.
Halloween party was the best though. Aiji, Sasha, Toni, Amanda, & Anais were all over. Lots of talking, giggling, and having a good time. We carved pumpkins and watched the Scooby Doo live action movie that recently came out. (The girl that plays Velma is sooooo cute!!) We have soooooooooooo much candy left over. Oh my god, and then Aiji almost killed me by making us watch these Aquaman shorts from Cartoon Network. I've seen one of them from back in the day, but watching all of them back to back nearly killed me. I was in so much pain because of laughing so hard. I need a never ending loop of that. I KNOW IT'S POSSIBLE.

So hey. Con wasn't anything special, but I had good times with friends. That's what matters!
PS it's Dia de los Muertos. It just makes me think of my character Saoul. Additionally, recently a fellow artist did a freakin' awesome quicky of her! She looks so bitchin'!
Did I mention I'm exhausted from only sleeping 4 hours because of the Halloween party???

Hurk hurk hurk splurge of One Piece doodles at the bottom. GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN READING??? I finished all the volumes we have, 1-14. I'm kinda upset we need more. Thankfully In Stock Trades has my back and I can get all five that I'm missing for a little less than $30. :T Unfortunately I have waaaay too many expenses right now. Saaaaad.

So my friend Rammy and I have been starting to do some paintchat lately.
NOTE: I AM HORRIBLE AT PAINT CHAT. NO JOKE.
But here's some Fire, Ice, and some Ice and Guy anyway.
I drew an emo Booster but it was so horrible that it's embarrassing to look at. I MAY REDRAW OR SOMETHING.

On that topic I juggled the idea of cosplaying one of Ice's costumes. Probably her current one. idk I think I could be fitting as her?
Also, there's rumors going around that Jaime Blue Beetle is going to be in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Even if it's for five seconds, I WILL BE PLEASED TO NO END. I don't particularly trust it but imdb says he'll have his BWAVE AND DA BOWLD voice, but WHO KNOWS. |: I LOVE MY FREAKIN' B&tB.

After a few things I drew, I went crazy and decided "I'm just going to finish this tiny sketchbook with nothing but Booster and Beetle" and I did it in one night. I put anything that was even suggestive to be gay in links under the cut. dhuuuur.

Despite it being Summer and having a ton of free time, I've been keeping myself fairly busy. Yay for having a great time with friends, going to school four days a week for a few hours, reading comics and manga, and actually playing video games. Starting up D&D on Fridays again has been spectacular. I love our team so much.

I've been working on making some clothing for my doll lately too. That's actually been a surprisingly great experience. It has been helping me learn so much about sewing just by doing it. I'm so glad I got into doing this because now I feel like I can ace this and then do amazing cosplay in the future.
I also have a bit of a list of things I need to do over the Summer. Typical things. I need to prepare for A-fest, get some things planned for the wedding (which we've now decided to have in the Spring of next year after discussing it with my parents), work on a super special awesome cosplay for A-Fest, apply for the university I'm going to, and blah blah blah typical boring things like that.
I'm just glad I'm enjoying my Summer as much as I have been!
Edit: Omigosh! I didn't know this but at New York Comic Con 2009 Yen Press announced they picked up Yatsuba&! EEEEE! I'll finally have Volume 6 in September!

I colored this really quick in OC4 trial speed painty style to show my D&D character's colors. (Aiji's color picure of Clover is super drool worthy.)
Uggghhhh OC4 is so fun to do this in. I wish I had the full version. It's been a while since I've wanted to do digital painting and doing this made me want to do more.

Recently I got a new sketchbook that's really tiny so it's more convenient to carry it around with me in my current bag. It's pretty small so I can't put a whole lot of detail into the pictures, but it's pretty convenient for coming up with rough thumbnails for bigger pictures.

Oh snap, dawg! I ordered my doll yesterday, and she was shipped out today. [: I can't wait to get her. She's absolutely precious (and was inexpensive).
