Despite it being Summer and having a ton of free time, I've been keeping myself fairly busy. Yay for having a great time with friends, going to school four days a week for a few hours, reading comics and manga, and actually playing video games. Starting up D&D on Fridays again has been spectacular. I love our team so much.
Here's just a list of crap that I've been enjoying.

I've been working on making some clothing for my doll lately too. That's actually been a surprisingly great experience. It has been helping me learn so much about sewing just by doing it. I'm so glad I got into doing this because now I feel like I can ace this and then do amazing cosplay in the future.
I also have a bit of a list of things I need to do over the Summer. Typical things. I need to prepare for A-fest, get some things planned for the wedding (which we've now decided to have in the Spring of next year after discussing it with my parents), work on a super special awesome cosplay for A-Fest, apply for the university I'm going to, and blah blah blah typical boring things like that.
I'm just glad I'm enjoying my Summer as much as I have been!
Edit: Omigosh! I didn't know this but at New York Comic Con 2009 Yen Press announced they picked up Yatsuba&! EEEEE! I'll finally have Volume 6 in September!

I colored this really quick in OC4 trial speed painty style to show my D&D character's colors. (Aiji's color picure of Clover is super drool worthy.)
Uggghhhh OC4 is so fun to do this in. I wish I had the full version. It's been a while since I've wanted to do digital painting and doing this made me want to do more.

We had quite an eventful weekend. It was a ton of fun though. On Friday we went to a Doll meetup (just to try it out and see what it's like), came home to my delivered doll, played D&D in the first time in forever and hung out with a ton of people. and on Saturday we went to Sam Moon and Joann's Fabrics.

Busy busy weekend.
I'm glad the people at the meet up weren't weird or creepy. Even though I hate to admit it I can be pretty judgemental when it comes to things like this and yet I felt it would be awesome to hangout with those guys in the future. They're super goofy and fun. :]

Recently I got a new sketchbook that's really tiny so it's more convenient to carry it around with me in my current bag. It's pretty small so I can't put a whole lot of detail into the pictures, but it's pretty convenient for coming up with rough thumbnails for bigger pictures.

Oh snap, dawg! I ordered my doll yesterday, and she was shipped out today. [: I can't wait to get her. She's absolutely precious (and was inexpensive).

WHO WANTS THE EXCLUSIVE POKEMON PLATINUM GIRATINA FOR $15 WITH FREE SHIPPING?
This is the Giratina that was an exclusive to those who preordered Pokemon Platinum. They're beautifully sculpted by Kaiyodo. I own four extra because of a Toys R Us that didn't know what they were doing (in Utah) and were practically giving them away. I had to snag some extra to make sure they got a home. (I almost wanted to get Platinum JUST for this thing, so I bet you can imagine how hyped I was.) Keep in mind it's only about 2.5"/7cm. It's tiny, but it's gorgeous for the size.
I'm going to throw these on ebay, but I wanted to give my friends the opportunity first!

So there's been some stuff bubbling up about the sequels of two of my favorite games of all time. I feel like rambling about my thoughts and such.
Dead Rising 2: You know what? I am absolutely stoked about this game. Dead Rising but MORE! I'm completely digging this guy. He's hot (but not nearly as hot as Frank) and he's a daddy. I'm sure his daughter dies pretty quick like, but that's even better. I seriously can't wait, and I can't wait to see cameos of characters *coughprobablyjustIsabellacough* UGH I LOVE DEAD RISING. *'GASMS*
Beyond Good and Evil 2: Well, Kotaku posted this up as a rumor. While it could be fake, it could be leaked stuff for E3. I normally try to not judge a game until I play it, and I'm especially hopeful for BG&E2. While I know that's prerendered stuff, I'm just kinda like "uhhhh is this a Mirror's Edge/Prince of Persia mod?" :T It's.. pretty! Those skinny civilian guys are BG&E to the max. So basically to me, I think it LOOKS good, but I sure hope that's not what the game play will be like, Or at least I hope there's more variety.
Thinking about it though, I remember the guys saying they wanted to make BG&E2 easier. The first one was pretty damn easy so I have no idea what they're talking about, but if there's platforming elements I don't think I mind easy. It doesn't always mean bad. Like the new Prince of Persia. The "easy" made it more enjoyable. It would have been annoying as Hell if I died and had to start all over to my last save or something if I died every time I fell off a cliff in that game. That game turned out to be one of my favorites of all time too.
In short I'm excited about Dead Rising 2 and I'm kinda impartial if that trailer of Beyond Good and Evil 2 is real.
Oh yeah and I should probably pre-order Beyonetta soon. Although I hope they have some super special awesome edition or something. I'm a whore for that sort of thing when it comes to games that are special to me.

I ended up with unofficially made Ragnarok Online figures. I don't want them. Not to mention I have half of the real thing of this set.
